Maurice has a significant number of professional accomplishments to his name with two decades of entrepreneurial experience. His business acumen and vocational abilities have cast a wide net over a large number of endeavours.
He was formally educated in the practice of neuro-linguistics, an alternative approach to traditional psychotherapy, identifying the most effective methods of communication and heightens self-awareness in the pursuit of the ultimate goal of leading fuller, more productive lives.
At the young age of 24, he already gained recognition as being in the top 5% of salespeople worldwide by qualifying for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), which brings together top professionals to meet and share ideas and strategies.
When Maurice was 27, he became Regional Vice President of the largest financial services company in North America. Unwilling to rest on his professional laurels, two years later he purchased a franchise distribution business operating out of Quebec. As a result of succeeding even beyond initial expectations, he was given an expanded territory to run, the entire East Coast of Canada and Southern Ontario. One year later, Maurice was proudly awarded Canadian Marketer of the Year.
At 31 years of age, Maurice became North American President of the distribution group of companies. An significant accomplishment during this time was the introduction of a proprietary line of Optimal brand multivitamins antioxidant formula that stunned the industry for its visionary forward thinking. Experts considered the product line years ahead of its time. Also introduced around that time was a complete line of non-toxic home care products that were not only safe for the consumer, but for the environment as well, long before “going green” had penetrated the popular culture vernacular. Maurice then sold the distribution company into a publicly traded company one year later.
When Maurice was 33, he ascended to the Presidency of a publicly traded company of 35,000 people in North America boasting a variety of interests in manufacturing, printing, and distribution. Since this time, he has mostly served as a consultant to start-ups and companies in need of a new or solid direction. Maurice is well-travelled, serving as speaker, motivator, and sales trainer. He has earned up to $100,000 U.S. dollars for five weeks of service.
Now the president of Axxess Payments with operations in four countries, Maurice was a regular contributor to an online magazine concerning the dynamics of married life. His favourite books are the Bible, Pushing Up People and the E Myth. His favourite quotes are, “In order to lead the orchestra, you must turn your back on the crowd” and “A true love story has no ending.” Every week, Maurice generously donates his time to teaching the Bible.
